Have some cans or recyclables lying around? Create your own stilts and take them for a spin! You can use cans from beans/soup or even large coffee cans!

1. Wash out cans.
2. Paint cans if you would like. 3. With a hammer and a nail, make a hole in each side of the can near the closed side. (Have an adult help with this step) 4. Cut string or yarn to a length that will reach your hands when looped. 5. Tie knots in the ends of the string. 6. Go for a stilt walk! 7. Have a stilt race! 8. Reach all the tall things! |
